Dr. Render is the owner of Render HeartCare, a mobile veterinary cardiology service in San Diego, CA. He discovered his passion for cardiology during his training under inspiring mentors at Cornell University where he graduated from veterinary school and was honored with the prestigious Dorothy Sullivan Prize for his outstanding outreach efforts. He then completed a yearlong internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island, a yearlong internship in small animal cardiology at MedVet Columbus, and a three-year residency in small animal cardiology at MedVet Columbus in Worthington, OH.

Dr. Render brings a wealth of expertise to the field and is especially interested in congenital heart defects and cardiac tumor evaluations.

Outside of work, he enjoys watching sports, cooking shows, and movies—especially sports comedies!
